The Good Access Conf Code of Conduct

At Good Access Conf, we provide an environment that is memorable for all the right reasons. Inclusivity is at our core; this requires treating every individual with respect, regardless of gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, or religion (or lack thereof).

We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form.

Our Standards

  • Be Professional: Treat others as you would expect to be treated in a professional executive setting.
  • Be Considerate: Acknowledge that our attendees come from diverse geographical and cultural backgrounds.
  • Be Proactive: If you see something that contradicts our values, please alert us.

Harassment Defined

Harassment includes, but is not limited to:

  • Offensive verbal comments related to protected characteristics.
  • Sexual images in public spaces (including presentation slides).
  • Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following.
  • Sustained disruption of talks or workshops.
  • Inappropriate physical contact and unwelcome sexual attention.

Participants asked to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately.

Reporting an Incident

If you have a problem, notice that someone else is having a problem, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the team immediately.

For our in-person event in Groningen: Heike, Maria, and Caitlin are your primary points of contact. We will introduce ourselves during the opening remarks so you can identify us.

In Person: Find us via reception or look for our organiser lanyards.

Enforcement

If a participant engages in harassing behaviour, the organisers may take any action they deem appropriate. This includes a formal warning, expulsion from the conference with no refund, or involving local authorities if necessary.
