Workplace Accessibility Training

Disability-Inclusive Leadership

Creating accessible and inclusive teams

Two people stand behind a glass wall covered in orange and blue sticky notes, discussing ideas. One, a white woman with short grey hair, holds a piece of paper and a marker, while the other, a black man with a slightly greying goatee, holds a pencil near their mouth, appearing deep in thought. A plant is visible in the background, and the setting looks like a bright, informal workspace.

Creating an accessible workplace involves far more than responding to individual requests for reasonable adjustments. Managers and leaders play a vital role in shaping the culture, communication, systems and everyday experiences of disabled employees.

Disability-Inclusive Leadership: Creating Accessible and Inclusive Teams equips managers and leaders with the knowledge, confidence and practical strategies to remove barriers and build more accessible, inclusive workplaces.

Participants explore physical, digital, communication, procedural and attitudinal barriers, alongside disability language, disclosure, psychological safety, accessible ways of working and inclusion throughout the employee journey.

Moving beyond disability awareness, the course focuses on the practical actions managers and leaders can take to embed accessibility into everyday leadership and create lasting organisational change.
